About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Visitor Registration in Wyoming, Michigan, for a logistics and distribution location. The role focuses on access control, monitoring entry points, verifying credentials and delivery documentation, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Officers support an orderly environment through reliable communication, teamwork, and adherence to site-specific procedures.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.53 per hour. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and may be subject to background and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and issue and recover visitor credentials as directed.
• Report unauthorized access attempts and unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
