About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Registration in Lakeland, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment and assisting with security-related concerns. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday and Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel according to site-specific procedures and access protocols.
Monitor entry activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and delivery records.
Receive and direct phone calls, deliveries, and inquiries professionally while remaining aware of security-related concerns at the front desk.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications about access activity, incidents, and other security-related matters.
