About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location in Newark, Ohio. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. The role includes following site-specific procedures and policies, responding to incidents and alarms, monitoring access points and visitor activity, and documenting observations and actions taken. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Hold a valid driver's license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, documenting observations and actions taken.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and report potential security-related concerns.
