About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This driving patrol role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at a rate of $20.39 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills to address incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, docks, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
