About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Irvine, California, you will safeguard clients at an innovative technology location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and access concerns, document observations, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role is full-time on a swing shift, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The pay rate is $25.50 per hour.

Applicants must have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience and at least two years of security-related experience. A high school diploma or equivalent and minimum age of 18 for unarmed roles are required. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Respond to alarms and access concerns, document observations, and communicate effectively.
