About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed building patrol driver in Newport Beach, California, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail and mall location. The officer conducts patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service and communication. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license.

The position follows a mixed schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security response activities.
• Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following site policies and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, visitors, and responding public service personnel.
