About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution in Cleveland, Ohio, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and clients. You will communicate professionally and support a welcoming environment while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.51 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and other designated locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
