About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Chester, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to tenants and visitors. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; a required license may need to be obtained before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and guests while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
