About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for building patrol at a commercial real estate location in Costa Mesa, California. The officer will safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, supporting access control, and providing professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees. The role is scheduled for swing shift, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and pays $20.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for this unarmed role and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions. Licensing requirements vary by applicable state and local laws and may need to be met before employment. Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, and document arrivals, departures, and security-related observations as required.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
