About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support a dynamic automotive location in Fremont, California. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control activities, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled for overnight shifts on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The pay rate is $22.52 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

CPR certification.

A guard card or license.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site requirements, accurately documenting incidents and observations.
Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
