As a Security Officer Full Time Credentialing Driver in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures and direct drivers, deliveries, and visitors to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
