About The Position

As a Security Officer Credentialing in Gretna, Nebraska, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as logistics and distribution. At a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with the movement of employees, visitors, and deliveries. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. The role delivers reliable service through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first culture. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic according to site procedures, direct drivers to designated areas, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
