Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver in San Diego, California. The officer will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries by monitoring and patrolling assigned locations and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and involves customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to security-related concerns. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for unarmed work. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening. Security licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Monitor assigned locations and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
