About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer and Patrol Driver in Archbald, Pennsylvania, you will support an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document observations, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The pay rate is $18.22 per hour.

The schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Applicants must meet pre-employment requirements, including a valid driver’s license. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law; licensing requirements may apply under state or local rules.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, facility concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
