Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed patrol driver in Malvern, Pennsylvania, the Security Officer serves and safeguards clients at an educational location. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license. Officers are expected to bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach to a role on an agile, reliable, and innovative team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background investigation, as a condition of employment.
- Successful completion of a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Communicate with students, staff, and visitors.
