About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrols in The Dalles, Oregon, assigned to a technology data center. The role provides a dependable weekly base schedule and allows officers to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The fixed-shift assignment requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. Pay is $24.00 per hour.

The listed schedule is Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The officer provides customer service and carries out site-specific security procedures, patrols, access control, and emergency response activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center.
• Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter fencing, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access control points and verify entry credentials for personnel, visitors, and vendors according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and access-related activities in required reports and logs.
