About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer at a residential high-rise, you will help safeguard residents, visitors, staff, and property. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, monitor visitor activity, and report security-related or maintenance concerns. The role requires clear, professional communication and calm responses to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations, following site-specific procedures and policies.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Identify and report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with property policies.
Document incidents, patrol observations, and relevant security-related information in required reports.
Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership when support or escalation is needed.
