Security Officer - High Rise
About The Position
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a high-rise assignment in Plano, Texas. The role focuses on customer service, facility security, monitoring for rule violations and suspicious activity, and responding to incidents and emergencies. Multiple shifts are available. Compensation is $17.05 per hour. A driver license is required. The officer will observe and survey the assigned area, conduct perimeter patrols, report on activity, and enforce applicable customer procedures, regulations, and standards. The role also requires reading and writing detailed reports and providing rapid response in critical situations.
Requirements
- Valid driver license.
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Stable work history.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong customer service skills.
- State license if required.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct roving patrols of the facility perimeter to detect unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
- Act as a point of contact for incidents and emergencies.
- Monitor the property for rule infractions.
- Observe and survey the assigned area and report on activity.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
- Read and write detailed reports.
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards when appropriate.
