About The Position

Titan Security is hiring a Security Officer for a downtown high-rise. The role supports a safe and welcoming property by providing customer service, managing access, maintaining front-desk records, monitoring cameras, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents. Officers may also perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets or animals.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state-accredited training requirements.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability is considered a plus.
Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including directions and general business information.
Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs concerning people and property, including packages.
Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents, including emergencies, and record incident information for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
