About The Position

As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California, you will serve as a welcoming, professional front desk presence while supporting security-related operations. You will greet visitors, manage access procedures, communicate with tenants and guests, and address concerns with care and integrity. The role is full-time and pays $21.60 per hour. The scheduled hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Thursday through Sunday.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Monitor building access by greeting visitors, verifying identification or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, provide general building information, and communicate professionally with tenants, management, and emergency responders as needed.
Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, and building communications, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and incidents according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
