About The Position

The High Rise Building Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring premises, patrolling locations, observing and reporting activities and incidents, and enforcing client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

The role requires operating a security console, including handling alarms, camera operations, and access control. It involves extensive security rounds and may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain. The position pays $17.00 per hour. Security positions are available full-time and part-time.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience; high-rise environment experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate a security console, including handling alarms, camera operations, and access control.
• Strong computer and report-writing skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Ability to walk extensive security rounds and perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
