About The Position

Titan Security is hiring a Security Officer for a downtown high-rise. The role focuses on providing customer service, managing front-desk records and access, monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and responding to property incidents and emergencies. Officers help maintain a safe environment for tenants, visitors, vendors, and other parties while on duty.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets or animals.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including required state-accredited training.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.
Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including directions and general business information.
Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs concerning people and property, including packages.
Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents and emergencies, and record incident information for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
