About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to provide visitor assistance at a hospital in the Bronx, New York. The role is assigned to a designated site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment. Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter.
