About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a visitor reception role in Beverly Hills, California. The officer will be a welcoming, visible presence at a client location, assist visitors, monitor access, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. The position supports a professional environment through customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, and integrity. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Friday and Saturday, 9:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The role includes access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access, greet visitors, verify credentials, and direct guests according to site-specific procedures.
Maintain visitor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and support front-desk communications.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Report unusual activity, policy concerns, and incidents to appropriate personnel, and document required information.
