About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in visitor reception at a healthcare location in Nashville, Tennessee, you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to help maintain a professional and secure environment, communicating clearly with staff and guests. The role includes a daytime schedule listing Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Pay is $20.60 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information as applicable, manage visitor access, and direct visitors to appropriate departments.
Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, assistance requests, and critical situations, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
Help maintain an orderly reception area and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
