About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a front desk reception role at a manufacturing and industrial location in West Jefferson, Ohio. The officer welcomes visitors, manages access, maintains accurate records, and provides customer service and clear communication. The role supports a secure, professional environment by staying attentive to security concerns and coordinating with site personnel. The posted pay rate is $16.00 per hour, and the schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and incoming communications, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
Coordinate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding access requests, deliveries, visitor questions, and security concerns.
