About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to work at a healthcare location in Warrenton, Virginia. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, assist visitors and staff, and provide customer service and communication. The listed schedule is Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.64 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badges.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site procedures.
