About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in San Diego, California, assigned to a financial institution location. The role provides a designated weekly shift at an assigned site as a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform and can work toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $20.25 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out site-specific security procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and activity, and documenting incidents and shift information. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
