About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for an assigned logistics and distribution site in Valencia, California. The role provides a dependable weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, with the option to build up to 40 hours per week or scale back as needed. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and access-control concerns, patrols assigned areas, verifies authorized entry, and documents and communicates observations. The schedule listed is Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, package or shipment-related concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
