About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer in Greenfield, California. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that designated site and schedule. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours and potentially work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $18.23 per hour. The posted schedule is Friday, 7:00 PM–11:00 PM. The work supports security operations at winery, vineyard, production, warehouse, and perimeter areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of winery, vineyard, production, warehouse, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, product storage, equipment, or restricted areas, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
