About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Salinas, California. The role provides a fixed weekly assignment at a designated site, with a required six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The position is intended to offer consistent base hours with flexibility to add shifts and potentially build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The posted schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.90 per hour. The officer provides customer service and performs unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and documentation in accordance with site and company procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site procedures.
