About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Flowood, Mississippi. The position is assigned to a designated site and includes fixed weekly anchor shifts, requiring a six-month commitment. In addition to the regular schedule, employees may claim extra shifts through the company scheduling platform. The role is intended for part-time work with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.45 per hour. The officer provides customer service, follows site security procedures, conducts patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents, and reports security concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment if required.

• Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the food production location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel and delivery drivers according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Deter unauthorized entry, theft, and disruptive activity through a visible presence, adherence to post orders, and timely reporting of security concerns.
