About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Redlands, California. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment. In addition to the fixed shift, employees may claim extra shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their hours as needed. The position pays $19.73 per hour and is scheduled Sunday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation, as permitted by applicable law.
• Undergo a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, loading areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor site access by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Assist with emergency response activities, maintain accurate daily activity logs, and communicate hazards or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
