About The Position

As a Security Officer Courthouse Patrol in Riverside, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government court services location. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to routine concerns, and provide customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and other members of the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of court facilities, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and screen or direct visitors according to established procedures, maintaining professional interactions in a government court environment.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
Prepare clear and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Maintain communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
