Security Officer Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol in McKenzie, Tennessee, to serve clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible security presence, supports access control and site operations, and provides customer service to employees and visitors. The role involves responding to incidents and alarms, documenting observations, and communicating with appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.20 per hour. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations.
- Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
