About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol at a healthcare location in New Albany, Ohio, you will help safeguard clients, patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role supports a welcoming environment through customer service, clear communication, and professional interactions. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $17.49 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badges is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and the healthcare location's perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
