About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol at a residential location in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will safeguard residents, visitors, and clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. This is a part-time position scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, deterring unauthorized activity and reporting concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
