About The Position

As a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Chantilly, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The position is part of Allied Universal’s team, which emphasizes a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vendor authorization according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and security concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.
