About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location in Baltimore, Maryland, you will help safeguard clients and members of the public. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role is part of Allied Universal’s security team, which emphasizes a people-first culture, integrity, and teamwork.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and public-service personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct individuals according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
