About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring full-time unarmed Security Officers for a refinery/petrochemical TWIC site in Geismar, Louisiana. The role safeguards clients by providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. The position requires a valid TWIC card, at least one year of security experience, a clean driver's license, comfort using computers or tablets for gate access, and experience with badging and access control. Officers must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying elements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security experience.
• Possess a valid TWIC card.
• Have a clean driver's license with no flags or suspensions.
• Be comfortable using computers or tablets for gate access.
• Have experience in badging and access control.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to work outdoors in the elements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation and drug screen as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
