About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed TWIC Security Officer for a site in Cameron, Louisiana, approximately 55 miles south of Lake Charles. The role is 100% outdoors and requires active TWIC credentials in hand. It is a flexible-availability position with 12-hour shifts; the officer must be able to work any shift, AM or PM. Pay is $25.00 per hour, paid weekly. The first interview will be conducted by video.

The officer will safeguard clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This remote location requires reliable transportation.

Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening. Applicants must provide an unexpired driver's license and Social Security card; copies are not accepted.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for this role.
• Have an active TWIC card in hand; receipts are not accepted.
• Have five years of security experience, or at least one year of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Have experience working in direct elements; the position is 100% outdoors.
• Have experience in security surveillance.
• Be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
• Provide an unexpired driver's license and Social Security card; copies are not accepted.
• Have reliable transportation because the work location is remote.
• Be able to work 12-hour shifts and have open availability to work any AM or PM shift.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors.
• For unarmed roles, generally possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
