About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for property patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Millington, Tennessee. The officer will safeguard the client by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, reliability, and collaboration. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by applicable law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities while providing customer service.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor vehicle, visitor, and employee activity and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations according to site procedures.
