About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol a hospitality property in Columbus, Ohio. The officer will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, interact professionally with guests and staff, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license.

The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for this driving position.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, guest areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Interact professionally with guests and staff, respond to concerns, document observations, and help deter security-related incidents.
