About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer Driver Patrol Property Observation for a healthcare-related pharmaceutical location in Middletown, Delaware. The officer will provide customer service, conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, monitor access and visitor activity, respond to incidents and alarms, and complete required reports. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and restricted-access points.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, maintain required logs, and report access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify supervisors, emergency responders, and/or site contacts as appropriate.
Communicate professionally and complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
