About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage production location in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and helping deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors through exceptional customer service, clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring culture.

The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. The pay rate is $14.18 per hour. The role includes carrying out security procedures and site policies, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting patrols, monitoring access, keeping logs and reports, and communicating relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when addressing incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports according to site requirements.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, as appropriate.
