About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol at a technology-focused location in Colorado Springs, Colorado, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, and the client’s facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access and visitor activity, and help provide a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assist with directing guests, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow established site protocols, and notify appropriate contacts.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
