About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Preparedness in Lawnside, New Jersey, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service, report observations, and respond to site needs. The role is full-time and pays $18.91 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing may be required by state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying visitor, vendor, and driver credentials according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged property, and suspicious activity while maintaining a professional presence.
