About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Unarmed Tablet Assisted Patrol in Birmingham, Alabama. The officer will serve and safeguard clients at a financial-services location by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, observing and reporting concerns, and providing professional customer service. The role includes responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. The position pays $17.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed work and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and observe and report security-related concerns.
