About The Position

As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Irving, Texas, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support a workplace culture built on teamwork and integrity. The position is full-time and pays $22.89 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Friday, 1:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state and/or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.
