About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location in Ogden, Utah. The officer conducts routine and random patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitors assigned areas and access points, and responds to security-related concerns. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and following site-specific procedures and reporting requirements. The position pays $23.62 per hour. The posted schedule lists shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and an active DoD Secret Clearance, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
An active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
